INVESTING OASIS
DAILY TRADE REPORT
SAMPLES

Below are 3 sample Investing Oasis Daily Trade Reports. Each trading day, the top trades from the Oasis Growth Fund (OGF) are listed according to their respective tier (1-4) with specific details (trading price, expected return or yield, days to maturity (for options)) and the reason(s) each trade has been deployed. Every trade has been deployed on the date posted. For regulatory reasons, trades can only be published after the close of the market.

A subscription also provides access to general tactical trading guidelines when deploying trades. Investors are encouraged to practice discretion and to only deploy trades appropriate for their circumstances and risk tolerance.

Index of Acronyms used on the Investing Oasis Daily Trade Reports:

  • FX - Currency of the trade

  • ACB - The Adjusted Cost Base for securities traded and held in the Oasis Growth Fund. The ACB's of every postion influence how we deploy future purchases (DCA vs Put writing) and where to set the Stop-Loss orders to protect the original invested capital.

  • Target Price - For all core stocks, the target return is the concensus 1 year average as provided by professional analysts.  These targets will change as the year evolves.

  • 1 Year Target Return (%) - This is the mathematical calculation of the transaction price divided by the target price.

  • Days to Maturity - This is the time to maturity for each contract (Calls & Puts).

  • Yield to Maturity - This is the yield expected when a position matures worthless. Remember, each of the Covered Calls and the cash-secured Put contracts are sold first and bought back later at a lower price (sell high, buy low).

  • Trade Purpose - Income, Growth, Profit or Loss

  • Trade Type - DCA (buying small amounts on Limit Orders with cash with the intention to buy more shares until the portfolio average is achieved), SL (Stop Loss) order, TSL (Trailing Stop Loss) order, OTM (Out-of-the-money), ATM (At-the-money) or ITM (In-the-money).

  • Trade Rationale - Explanation as to why the trade was performed.

  • Confidence Level (H, M, L) - Demonstrates the degree of the PM's confidence that a trade could be profitable.  A trade identified with a "L" does not mean it is a bad trade. Although the quality of assets has met our minimum standards, the probability of profitability of the trade may not be as high as trades marked "H" or "M".
